Shiftycent on the Minecraft forums discovered this seed which contains some epic overhanging mountains right around the spawn area.

    Same sort of thing as in the pics, didn't see the lava though.

    Also, random single block above the point I mentioned.

    The lava takes a few minutes to start flowing once the level is loaded. Of course, you may not have time to lolligag around looking for it since the game seems to like to spawn skeletons in that dark area under the overhang. I got peppered with arrows and it wasn't even noon yet. :)
