Zanzah on the Minecraft forums discovered this seed for Minecraft 1.0 which creates an NPC village on a large island at (x=540, z=-280). The village even has a ravine running underneath it.
My new favorite seed next to gimmeabreak. 2 villages within spawn region (sorta), with 2 ravines right next to each other under the 2nd village and a ravine inside one of the others. RAVINECEPTION!
- NPC villages more or less directly East and West from spawn point (on opposites ends of the main land mass).
- Exposed ravine Southwest of spawn. At least three or four other cave network entrances can be found scattered West of this in the forests, and one more major cave system a bit North of these (about center of the map).
- Exposed cave entrances along coastlines to the Northeast and Southwest edges of the main island - just follow the coast and you should come across them.
- Massive mountain range to the South (next to desert). Keep crossing southern desert and the desert will turn back into some forest. There's a massive cavern opening around here, at the very end of the land mass.
The village has a nice little chest with iron armor, 5 iron, 3 diamonds and some other nice thing. I also found the zombie dungeon. I had so much sand after clearing out the dungeon, I built a sand house!
Works with 1.1 And whats more, while exploring the caves under the village at 380 220 I eventually found myself at 630 340 in an abandoned mines system(Under the ocean), that so far as I can tell holds about 10 spawners!!!!!!!(that I found so far) Found 6 cave spiders, 2 skeleton, 2 spider spawners.

I even started up vanilla minecraft without mods to see if it changes, and while the locations changed a bit, I still found at least 5 in the short time I checked in there

Once, i found this island in a game i made. I just made it without seeds, i found this strange, but now i know that the game make this. lol

ReplyDeleteThe village has *multiple* ravines under it - if you break through the dirt from the wheat farm, it takes you to a second and third ravine.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like the village at x370 z230 has houses with the doors multiple levels above the ground. These NPCs are not great masters of architecture.

Make sure you copy the seed exactly.
I accidentally pasted a space after the seed and got the wrong world.
can someone plz help whenever i press F3 to bring up the x y z coordinates, there is a big red graph covering the coordinates, plz help

coolo, that's the lagometer, get optifine and turn it off. That should help.

ReplyDeleteNo; the Xbox version uses Beta 1.7; this seed only works as described for Minecraft 1.0 and later.
